TIMARA regularly hosts special symposia, festivals, and concerts that enrich the campus experience.
Recent events have included (T)echs Machina, the Crafting Sound Symposium, the Crafting Change Symposium, and the Kaleidosonic Music Festival, an evening-length event celebrating the TIMARA Department’s 50th anniversary, featuring 500 musicians representing a wide array of styles including Gospel, classical, rock and roll, jazz, early music, marching band, and avant-garde.
